A wild ride in Wrigleyville from the corner of Halsted and Addison near the red line CTA el to the wicked nice brownstone in the middle of Bradley Place near Wrigley Field in a part of Chicago called lakeview. This brownstone has rehabbed apartments with a great backyard with a trademarked lifeguard chair. It’s is great to live in Wrigleyville. This is a wicked neighborhood near Whole Foods, Jewel foods and 123 bars and restaurant. Produced from our exclusive dashoard camera cam.

A montage of random things I’ve been filming with my imac over the past months.

This seems to be all I really have time for nowadays. I’ve started YET ANOTHER job, which I think makes 4 jobs since I started posting videos in the first place, way back in 2006. Yikes. I’ve had a lot of jobs.

Anyway, this new one is just getting off the ground, and I leave my house at 7am and don’t get home til 7pm. Longs days, folks.

Season 8, Episode 6: Lifeguard Confidential
Original Air Date—27 October 1997
A sleazy TV reporter, called Roger Riptide who flies around the beach in a helicopter, starts dishing dirt on the private lives of the Baywatch lifeguards for his TV show much to the irritation of Mitch and Taylor, who suspect someone is leaking information to Riptide. Meanwhile, Caroline Holden arrives back in town after a failed acting career in New York and moves back into her apartment with Cody who is letting J.D. stay with him until he can find a place for himself, and the two of them hit it off. Cody also discovers Lani moonlighting as a dancer at a local nightclub, and Newman hits it off with a shady new blond woman called Larana, whom is unknowingly an informant for Riptide.

Were here at Surin Beach for the Nippers Surf Life Saving Carnival. Lets go check out how the kids are having fun, getting fit and learning how to save lives in the ocean.
Little kids were having so much fun on Saturday the 14th of March on Surin Beach in the latest Nipper Lifesaving Carnival organized by the Phuket Lifeguard Club and sponsored by Cherng Talay District Administration Organisation and Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort, held to train little kids on how to swim, get fit and learn essential life saving skills. Water knowledge and safety, different swimming skills, beach rescues and board-riding were all part of the special free activity. Children were sorted into groups depending on their age and swimming skills. They participated in beach sprints, swimming races, dolphin jumps or how to get over waves and also tug of wars.
Khun Nat, Prathaiyut Chuayuan, President of the Phuket Lifeguard Club, had a little chat with us about the fun of this event:

Khun Nat also stated that this event was not only for Thai kids but applies to all nationalities and would like to ask more foreign kids to come along and join the fun time together. The parents and children who participated in the previous events were also keen to join the carnival again last Saturday. The parents said that they had also supported the event with equipment and their time to help look after kids when practicing swimming skills or even first aid, like CPR or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
The volunteer parents such as Khun Nok, Khun Nui and Khun Nid, also want to give out messages to parents and schools in Phuket:

So, i just got my lifeguarding classes done by the american red cross and to make a long story short, the pool i wanted to work at might not hire me. I have no idea where to start looking for a job! Should i just go strolling around and ask if they need a lifeguard? Is there a website that i could go to?

fyi: Im 16 soon to be 17 male, in the Atlanta area.

Places like Waterparks, Outdoor pools, and Resorts all need lifeguards.

I work at the YMCA, but honestly, there are not many differences between the two. To work at the YMCA, you must be certified through the Red Cross, therefore the training is the same. (Your EAP- emergency action plan depends on your YMCA however).

We are required to swim 500 yards once a month, and attend trainings to keep our "skills" in shape.
Where as the Red Cross only requires 300 yards once a month.

We did have to do the surface dive with the brick under a minute thirty.

With back boarding, it depends who is in the pool, how many YMCA staff members are available to assist in your rescue.
