What exactly is needed to be a lifeguard?

Besides CPR training?

I’d like to get a job at Schlitterbahn as a lifeguard this summer, and I need to know what they require.

the red cross actually has a lifeguard certification, most lifeguards are required to have this. it also makes getting jobs easier

  3. I’m no expert on this sort of thing but I would guess that to start out with you would need to be a good strong swimmer. In addition you may need some kind of certification depending on where you are applying. Probably nothing too hàrd.
