Actually The …
Actually The Household cavalry’s dutys are far from just cerimonial – they are also part o the Royal Armoured Brigade and have main battle tanks and all that goes with it. They serve 3 years in London then another 3 years with the tanks.
The are currently serving – along with thier brother regiment The Lifeguards in all present conflicts.

It’s a real army …
It’s a real army regiment. It’s the only active fighting infantry regiment of the Danish army. 500 Danish royal guardsmen or so in Afghanistan right now.

The Queen’s Foot …
The Queen’s Foot Guards are also out for two hours, off for four. These guys in the video are the Household Cavalry, and their public duties seem to all be purely ceremonial.
Are the Danish Royal Guards a real army regiment ? or is it purely ceremonial?

These arn’t Life …
These arn’t Life Guards they are the Blues and Royals, the Life Guards are the ones in red tunics and white plumes, Blues wear blue tunics with red plumes.
