This guy was beat up from huge waves at the Newport Beach Wedge today, waves were 20 feet high at times…the dude is lucky because another guy died at the wedge earlier today (after being pulled out by lifeguards). |

the news was looking for people to interview about it
several other rescues were made by a lifeguard boat that would go in and pick up people(in between sets of course) that got overwhelmed
