Lifeguards performing CPR and Defibrillation
April 242010
Found this video on ParamedicTV.com showing a Lifeguard Emergency Response Team “DIVE” lol into action. With the quick thinking of emergency medical and rescue professionals, critical pre-hospital intervention is brought to the patients side. Beyond the exemplary actions of Firefighters and Officers lies the unclaimed division of the Emergency Medical Services. As a Paramedic in Ontario, I believe that we are deserving of the support and respect you would show an Officer or Firefighter in the line if duty. Dedicated to serving your community, we put our lives on the line in order to ensure you are looked after and cared for in times of need.

http://www.RoyOnRescue.com From time to time we here people say they doubt that web based learning is better than the classroom. After Roy get’s hit with a severe West Michigan Cold, he remembers how frustrating it was to have to sit in a 4 or 8 hour classroom while being sick. It inspired him to talk about the benefits of self paced eLearning for CPR certification compared to stuffy classroom settings that may not be as effective as some would like to think.
